“Why a pager and not a cell phone?”, you might ask?

One reason is that the pager allowed me to have a Chilliwack number and an Abbotsford number on one device before dual-sim cellular phones were available. Aside from that though, there is a growing trend for trades-people to be on their cell phones a lot, even into thousands of air-time minutes per month. Customers soon tire of seeing trades on the phone with calls unrelated to the job at hand, particularly if the job is being billed time and material.

When I am on a customer's site, I try not to use my phone unless it is for calls related to that site. This may mean I am not as readily accessible as some electricians, but I hope you will appreciate this courtesy when I am on your site.
